1. Who We Are

AYL (Agentic Youth Layer) is a product of Agentics Technology Solutions Ltd., incorporated in Ghana. We operate a national youth employability trust infrastructure platform. Contact: privacy@ublafrica.com

2. Data We Collect

We collect identity data (name, age, phone number, Ghana Card reference where provided), behavioural and activity data (course completions, work records, supervisor ratings, assessment results), device and channel data (USSD, WhatsApp, app), and partner-supplied data (training completions, employment records from verified institutional partners). We do not collect data without your explicit consent at registration.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to generate your Agentics Youth ID and Employability Score, match you to employment opportunities, verify your identity for employers who query your profile with your consent, improve scoring and matching algorithms using anonymised aggregate data, and provide regulatory reporting as legally required.

4. Legal Basis

Processing is conducted under Ghana's Data Protection Act 2012 and with your explicit consent at registration. You may withdraw consent at any time subject to statutory retention obligations.

5. Data Sharing

We share data only with: employers who query your profile with your explicit consent; government agencies as required by applicable law; and technology infrastructure providers under strict data processing agreements. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.

6. Your Rights

Under the Ghana Data Protection Act 2012: right to access, correct, delete (subject to retention obligations), appeal scoring decisions, and complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.

7. Security

All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Immutable audit logs record all access events. ISO 27001 practices applied. Quarterly independent security audits conducted.
